Here’s the 3rd episode of Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories Collaborator. This time around they are talking to the legendary disco/funk producer Nile Rodgers, the guy who is responsible for some of the biggest disco/funk hits of all time such as Chic’s Le Freak and Good Times, Duran Duran’s Notorious and David Bowie’s Let’s Dance. In this episode, Rodgers talks about the power of collaboration and how a good collaborator gets the best of you because you feed off each other’s game. Another well produced episode of this excellent documentary.

Here’s the 2nd episode of the Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories collaborator. On this episode, we get to sit and listen to Garage producer Todd Edwards. Edwards talked about how Daft Punk works with live instruments and have Edwards come in and cut up samples of that live recordings. If you’re a producer, this series has been an eye opener.
