Pioneer just put out information on the next generation of CDJ-2000 called the Nexus. Some wicked features are beatsync, slip roll and scratch (you can scratch and the track will play on a la Traktor Beatmasher FX), wireless source connectivity (play tunes from iphones or laptop that connect wirelessly through wi-fi), key color code, quantized hot cue and many more. In short, they are amazing. If there’s a drawback, its listed at $2600 each. So if you want to get a whole set plus the DJM-900 nexus, it will set you back $7200. That’s a lot of money. And if you want to add laptop to the equation you can easily burn close to 10k. Ouch!
In the meantime, watch the video where Kissy Sellout shows what this bad boys can do.
